Just read about your work with over 80s my father in law is 86 – mostly into things like gardening but is also seen up ladders fixing roofs including the local church roof – he also does the odd day as a funeral director !
Hi Ruth, Many thanks for your message. I’ll be in touch once I’ve read through all of the messages. Best, Laura
Hi Laura, I have an 87 year old uncle who still farms 90 acres and has 40 head of cattle on Bodmin moor, Cornwall. He is a remarkable man, having recently had both knee and a hip replacement. May be worth your time if interested. Andrew Sutherland
Hi Andrew, Many thanks. I’ll be back in touch once I’ve read through all of the messages. Best, Laura
Hi Laura. I’m an 82-year old retired professor of Chinese and my wife is an 80-y.o nursery teacher. Pre-lockdown (and we hope afterwards) I played badminton and table tennis weekly and she swam daily. I played piano duets weekly with a friend who is in his mid-80s. Since the beginning of lockdown the garden has benefitted from the extra attention, but we’re desperate to get back into our previous routines! Good luck with your project! Keith
Hi Keith,
Many thanks for your message. I’m currently reading through all messages and will be in touch with everyone when I’m in a position to plan further ahead.
Best wishes, Laura
Hey Laura. My widowed mother is 95, lives alone in her own house. She loves baking and looking after her amazing garden and keeping up with current affairs. She’s well-informed and always has plans and projects so she’s never bored. She’d be worth considering.
Hi Paul, Thanks for getting in touch and telling me about your mother. I’m still reading through messages and will get back to everyone after I’ve read through them and been able to decide on the next stage. Best, Laura
My Grandmother is a pretty incredible woman who lives independently at 97 years old. I’m sure she’d be up for photography.
