Dear Laura,
As an active and endlessly curious 81 year old who lives on her own, and someone who has always engaged with the wider world, I feel I have rather lost my way during the pandemic.
Having seen your photographs and read the stories I am motivated to find a new road map for life after the pandemic and for my (very) old age!
Thank you.
Jenny
For Jenny Denton,
I also was inspired by Laura’s photos.
I am 85 and I feel that my life is as good as it ever has been, except for aches and pains.
I enjoy kayaking, swimming, gardening, walking, sketching, diy and photography. I have got three folders entitled “ lockdown walks” and two called “Up the river”. I feel very lucky that I always have exciting things to do.
Jennifer Nicholls.
Hi Laura
It was wonderful to meet you, what a talent you have! Love your photographs and the ones you took at the Crone event totally caught the vibe. I particularly love the photo of Joyce.
Best wishes
Sue
I am recently 88 & interested in your project. I live in London. I’m a driver – have a dog & walk her for an hour every day. I also run my grandson to school 2/3 days a week. I love socialising & meeting people. I realise I may be too late in getting involved in your project but will be interested in hearing more.

Hi Barbara, thanks for your message. Sounds as though you’re living life to the full! I’ve finished gathering stories for Hidden Depths but there is more about the project here: https://laurapage.co.uk/portfolios/projects/hidden-depths/ and a podcast about it on the Retirement Cafe website: https://www.theretirementcafe.co.uk/episodes/161-laura-page and there should be another exhibition of the work in Chester Cathedral in Sept 2023. Details will be on my FB page: https://www.facebook.com/LauraPagePhotography I hope that’s of use. Best wishes to you.
