  1. Good evening
You might be interested in photographing my husband. He is 89 in October and remains fit, healthy and active. For the past 40 years he has been a glider pilot and tows his self launching glider every summer to soar the Sierra de Guadarramas near Segovia. Sadly, this year, the current situation will prevent his trip.
He has walked the Camino de Santiago twice, covering 750km each time, and would very much like to repeat the experience for a third time.
He is father to two daughters, aged 62 and 61, and to three sons, aged 30, 28 and 21.
    Best wishes
    Jane Le Coyte

  2. Over 80 photograph

    Hi Laura

My Dad sent me your article and I thought of my Mum as an extraordinary person you might like to photograph.

Let me know how we progress from here.

    Best wishes, Neil

  3. Hi Laura, I just read the article about your projects on the BBC website and wanted to suggest my own father for your ‘extraordinary’ over 80’s project. My Dad (84) has been an avid cycling and history enthusiast all his life. Though he struggles with angina nowadays, he still gets time to be chairman of his life-long cycling club as well as the Glenside Hospital Museum in Bristol, which he helped to found. He still owns and maintains his collection of vintage bicycles and goes on rides with the Veteran Cycle Club. I’m sure you will have a lot of requests to meet many interesting people and I wish you luck with your project!

  4. Just read about your work with over 80s my father in law is 86 – mostly into things like gardening but is also seen up ladders fixing roofs including the local church roof – he also does the odd day as a funeral director !

  5. Hi Laura, I have an 87 year old uncle who still farms 90 acres and has 40 head of cattle on Bodmin moor, Cornwall. He is a remarkable man, having recently had both knee and a hip replacement. May be worth your time if interested. Andrew Sutherland
