  1. I am 93. and still very active both mentally and physically (dancing, swimming, skiing, computing, advanced driver, etc ). Not remarkable but very, very lucky!!

    • Hi Jean, Thanks for your message. You sound remarkable to me. I’ll be in touch with everyone once I’ve read through all the messages. Best, Laura

  2. Laura, my fellow tap dancers would like to nominate one of our group please.
Her name is Daphne and she is 87 now and still tap dancing which she has been doing since 1982. She has been living on her own since her husband died 10 years ago and 4 years ago she lost her eldest daughter who had struggled with MS for 22 years. She is a cheerful optimist, although her sister says she’s bossy!

I would love to send you a photograph of Daphne with the group?

  3. I may fit your search for an unusual 86 year old who has set up a website (with help from a granddaughter) to show off her silk scarves which she has accumulated over fifty years with a blog each day to entertain. I have published every day for the past fifty days and at our clapping for the NHS last night some folks suggested I approach you. I have a magic flying carpet which helps me whizz round the world with my blogs. I have never felt so fulfilled and happy knowing that my unexpected new hobby gives entertainment not only to friends and family, but a wider audience I do not know. Have a peep!
